MAC is not a bad site, fantastic team of people working up there with reasonable amenities. The camp that services the mine is tired and in need of an upgrade which will be happening soon along with an extension to the kitchen and mess area which will be a huge improvement. Camp has all the expected services/facilities and a good social atmosphere.

Area C is a pretty good place to work. The people are good to work with and everyone tends to focus on getting the job done safely.
The camp itself is a little old and shabby in places but does not lack any facilities one would expect on a mine site. There is quite a large gym, pool, tennis courts and everyones room has a tv connected to foxtel. There is a new WIFI network being rolled out acroos camp so that everyone will have wireless computer access. This is happening in the next few months and should be online by the end of the year. Phone's are telstra next g only but the coverage is usually good.
Food is average but i haven't been to a mine site yet that i can say the food was excellent. There is also an outdoor cafe set up now. This allows workers to go straight from work and sit at the wet mess and have a meal without the need to go to the dry mess for dinner.
