The Golden Grove Mine is approximately 450km northeast of Perth and 280km east of Geraldton in Western Australia. It is 52km southeast of Yalgoo. The mine has been producing zinc and copper concentrate, as well as precious metal concentrate since 1990.
In addition the Scuddles and Gossan Hill zinc and copper mines operate as underground mines. The zinc, copper, lead and gold concentrates extracted from the mine are transported to China, Korea, Japan, India and Thailand.
An Gossan Hill open pit commenced in January 2012 with a mine life of approximately 3 years.
The initial mine life of Golden Grove has been extended up to 2019.
