Site Reviews

Worked at the concentrator for six years, great place to work with a good bunch of people. Morale is generally good and there is plenty of long time employees. Very safety driven which is good, most would leave at the end of the day with a sense of accomplishment. Also a great town to raise young children and to have an active social life.
I worked at the BHP Kambalda Nickel Mill in 2007 for roughly a year. The Kambalda Nickel mill is owned by BHP and they buy their ore from nickel companies in the surrounding area. The place is fairly large with a mix of new and old equipment. I think it has been operating for over 40 years. Generally employees are based in Kambalda or Kalgoorlie. I found the Kambalda Nickel Mill a pretty great place to work at. The supervisors were great and the team work and mates I had there were awesome. Paid pretty well and great bonus's were paid. No FIFO but not a bad town to live in. Would work there again.
