Koolyanobbing Iron ore mine is located 400km East of Perth. It is approximately 50km North of the township of Southern Cross in the Goldfields.
The Iron ore deposit produces 8.5 million tonnes annually. The ore is mined using conventional open cut mining methods then refined through a processing facility which includes primary, secondary and tertiary crushing plants, a series of screens and conveyor load outs and train loading facilities.
Koolyanobbing is currently increasing its capacity by ramping up operations and is expected to reach 11 mtpa in the next 3 years.
