The Moolart Well Gold Mine is located within the Duketon Gold Project, approximately 350 kilometres north, north-east of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.
Ore is mined using conventional heavy open faced shovels and then trucked to the ROM pad. Initial mining will be conducted within the main open pit and will include several more when smaller projects once completed.
The Moolart Well processing plant is a standard carbon in leach (CIL) gold extraction plant with a nameplate design capacity of 2.0Mtpa for blended laterite and oxide ores. The site is powered by a diesel generated power station.
Infrastructure at Moolart Well includes a processing plant, power station, laboratory, borefield, air strip and a 130 man camp.
