Worked at Paraburdoo mine for a few years. Was a good crew back then and management was ok. Best permit system I've ever worked with and shutdowns were running very professionally. Camp was good with brick building rooms, internet and phone in the rooms. Food able to pack your own Social life is good, only one pub in town but if you again along with the residential guys you'll be invited to all the house parties. Town gym is small but had everything you need and really good people using it.
Bad points, if your a contractor they have no problem giving no notice and getting rid of you at a drop of a hat, seen it many a time and also felt it. Site is really dusty, some what more then other iron ore sites I've been. No gym at the camp and need to pay membership for the local town gym. Food is up and down but after while you get over eating stew after stew. Being a residential site it's very clicky and if you don't fit in the crew can make life hard.
Over all it's def one of the better sites I've worked otherwise I wouldn't of stayed there over 2 years.
