Site Reviews

The permanent camp rooms are spacious, shut down rooms are standard. No wet mess but there is a pub and bottle-o in town, drinking at you donga and the BBQ area is allowed. No WiFi at your room but there is a "Net-mess" located at the at the mess. Huge Olympic swimming pool about 10 mins walk from the camp. Supermarket is well stocked but not cheap. Catering company is ISS.
The plant is aging and need attention. Mining is ramping up with underground now at the ore body Venus. Estimated mine life is 2052ish.
Good rooms and food. Has a supermarket, post office, service station & pool. It even has a primary school for residents of the town. Big on safety. Dust masks of the main decline due to asbestosis in some of the workings. Week long inductions. Locking out isolators for extending services Bad ground, rock noise/falls. Not the best paying site out there.
